Coming from the granite and clay soils of our Panhandle Vineyard, the second of our two vineyard-specific Tempranillos is the somewhat darker and earthier of the pair. With a little more structural heft overall, it also shows a bit more wood spice and more assertive tannins. Black plum, red cherry, and black cherry are joined by hints of nutmeg and a dusty minerality.
